AND MARY SAID,

"My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden.
For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed;
for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name.
And his mercy is on those who fear him from generation to generation.
He has shown strength with his arm, he has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts, he has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted those of low degree; he has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent empty away.
He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy,
as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his posterity for ever."

A FEW NOTES:
>EXAMS: Several but not all classes have midterm exams this week or next.  Other classes have exams for the first time in UNIT 10.  Parents: Have a discussion with your students about why it is worthwhile to put more time into exam preparation than homework (Basically, they have more to do with having the knowledge and they are worth more for your grade).  Students: Put time into preparing for your exams!!  Ask for help, if you need it.

>MARCH OF THE OXROSIANS: Two students, Rose and Margaret, have put together a wonderful proposal for an opportunity to meet up with other students at the upcoming March for Life in January.  In order to gauge interest and start planning, they have created a flier and a survey, which will be posted to the Billboard shortly.  Please read the flyer, fill out the survey, and help make it happen--potential options for both coasts were discussed at Family Night.

>FAMILY NIGHT: Our first was a great success.  Thank you to all who attended and to Mr. Walsh for hosting.  We will do another in three or four weeks.

>FACE LIFT: We have given the school site a face lift.  Nothing substantial, just a few tweeks to make things look better with the new lay out in this version of Moodle.  Note that some things have moved around a bit on the Dashboard page.
