Hear ye, hear ye! Noble Oxrosians, your fearless leaders are in search of students to take on the role of House Prefect! From the Latin praefectus, meaning “one placed in charge”, a prefect is chosen not only for academic achievement but also for their character. A prefect should act as a leader and role model for their housemates. Prefects should have a vibrant prayer life, be willing to lead virtuously, and strive to create a House culture of respect and joy.
This opportunity will allow the prefect to earn service hours and also will be an excellent bullet point on a resume. First and foremost, this noble station allows the prefect to continue to grow in holiness and wisdom. Let us follow the example of Christ and become a servant as we pursue truth, goodness, and beauty. Gaudio sicut gladiis semper in altum!
To Do: Contact your Provost if you are interested in becoming a Prefect for your House. He or she will give you more details.
Criteria: A student must have participated in his/her House for at least one year and have the Provost's approval. 2-3 Prefects will be chosen according to each House's needs.

Oxrose Academy Provosts are announcing a new opportunity for students to grow in leadership and service within the Oxrose community this academic year 2026-2027. We would love to see members of each House volunteer!
