"Shrove Tuesday in the Country" by Adriaen van de Venne  (circa 1589–1662)

Welcome back Oxrosians!  We hope that your break was both restful and productive.
Here are a few notes for the week:

BE THE SCHOLA: Please pray for each other in this period of the year -- it is a challenging stretch!
Not only do we have the spiritual challenges of Lent, but we have two exam sets (Units 20 & 23), the continuing gloom of winter, and it is typically an increasingly busy time for extracurriculars.

EXAMS: This week we have TPT, History and Great Books (check your oral exam schedule NOW)
Three "P"s  come to mind ~ PRIORITIZE exams over regular work, PREPARE diligently, and you will PERFORM admirably.

EARLY ENROLLMENT OPEN: Current families are invited to enroll now to get first pick of classes and times.  All families should have received the email announcements about how to proceed last week.  Contact the office if you did not.  Open enrollment will begin in March.

POEM of the WEEK: "Mercy" from Merchant of Venice by William Shakespeare.  Recited by Evelyn Sherman

Student and instructor contributions for "Poem of the Week" are welcome.  Send a message to Mr. Rolling with "Poem of the Week," and the title and author of the poem you would like to recite.
