Welcome back and Happy Easter!

As we return, let us carry our Christian joy into our work and all our interactions in an especial way this week.  Christ is risen!  Let us rejoice and be glad!  Alleluia!  We have two more regular weeks of work, then finals week extending until Tuesday of the subsequent week.  We should have crowded tutor times, bustling classes, and busy students as we charge the barricades of these last weeks!  Onward for the Glory of God!  Here are a few notes for the week.

CLT 8 EXAM on TUES/WED: See the complete instructions in the CLT course suite.  Contact Mrs. Walker with questions.
Test Window: Tuesday - Wednesday, April 29-30
Optional Group Test Time: Wednesday, April 30, 9 AM-12 PM.  A parent proctor is required to be present.
Class Conflicts: Missed classes to attend the group time are excused.  Please attend an alternative section or Tutor Time.

CLT 7 EXAM on THUR/FRI: See the complete instructions in the CLT course suite.  Contact Mrs. Walker with questions.
Test Window: Thursday - Friday, May 1-2
Optional Group Test Time: Friday, May 2, 9 AM-12 PM.  A parent proctor is required to be present.
Class Conflicts: Missed classes to attend the group time are excused.  Please attend an alternative section or Tutor Time.

HOLY FATHER & CONCLAVE: Let us join with the Church around the world in praying for the repose of the soul of Jorge Bergoglio, formerly Pope Francis, and for the conclave of cardinals, gathering to elect the next pope.

SAINTS: This week we enjoy a number of memorable memorials: Saint Peter Chanel on Monday (missionary/martyr to New Zealand), Saint Catherine of Sienna on Tuesday, Saint Marie of the Incarnation on Wednesday (a great linguist/missionary to Canada), Saint Joseph the Worker on Thursday, and Saint Athanasius on Friday.

POEM of the WEEK: "All that is Gold does not Glitter" by J.R.R. Tolkien.  Recited by Kynslee Spurlock.

Student and Instructor contributions for "Poem of the Week" are welcome (sung poetry is welcome, too).  Send a message to Mr. Rolling with "Poem of the Week," and the title and author of the poem you would like to recite.

PLEASE SPREAD the WORD: Enrollment is off to a great start, please consider sharing information about Oxrose, if you have been pleased with your experience.  Word of mouth remains our main means of advertisement.  Consider emailing someone who might be interested the link to this write up at First Things or our admissions page.  Class visits are very welcome as are conversations about what we do.  Thank you for being part of this community!

SUMMER CAMP ENROLLMENT OPEN: Find the link on the Dashboard at right.  We will do some preliminary planning before school is out.  Summer camp includes the chance to celebrate our graduates.  I especially encourage our senior families to consider coming out this year.  This will be our 5th year!
