Sleepers Wake!
On behalf of all the teachers and myself, welcome back to the new semester! I hope that the break was restful and rejuvenating.
As we begin Unit 15, here are a few announcements:
New Start: It is important to think of the second semester as a new start. First semester is wrapped up, we learned many lessons about how to succeed, now let's charge ahead to conquer the second one!
Tightening Up: Teachers have been instructed to be stricter in how they enforce school policies about class participation, homework deadlines, and so forth. You know the way things work now and have grown in virtue, so we expect more from you!
League of Oxrosians: Check out the current challenge and consult your provost with questions. House information is available and prizes await!
Spirit Week: Spirit Week marks the Feast of St. Thomas Aquinas and falls on Unit 17 this year. Start to prepare your Tolkien character costume, school gear, etc. for the festivities that week.
Parent Newsletter: This week, an email newsletter will go out with information about a number of second semester activities: March for Life, CLTs, Accreditation, Enrollment Opening, 2022 Summer Camp, etc. Be on the lookout for that. There is a lot going on!
