Announcements for the Week:

EXAMS: Some classes have semester-end exams this week (most ES, Math, and Latin classes).  The times and dates will be checked and updated this morning (Monday) to make sure they are set correctly for this semester.  Most exams open just after class time and remain open until the end of the grace period.  Prioritize time for your exams and set a schedule to fit everything in.

GRACE PERIOD: The semester end grace period extends through the end of the day on Tuesday, December 19th.  All late work from unit 14 must be turned in during this period to receive grading.

POEM of the WEEK: "The True Sun" by Boethius.  Recited by Kynslee Spurlock.

Student and instructor contributions for "Poem of the Week" are welcome.  Send a message to Mr. Rolling with "Poem of the Week," and the title and author of the poem you would like to recite.

DON'T FORGET: School Photos and the Yearbook Cover Design Contest

GREAT QUOTEAge quod agis, which translates to "Do what you are doing."  Sometimes we need to stop our minds from flying all over and settle in to do, simply, the work that must be done.  This week, make a list of tasks, then settle in and do what you are doing.  Give your whole attention to the one task you are on right now.  Soon, you will complete all the tasks.
