It's Spirit Week, which means we pause and celebrate our school community, the generosity of God in bringing us together, and the talents and virtues of our noble members.  We also contemplate what it means to be an Oxrosian!  How do we quest always into the depths and maintain joy like swords?
Let us take this week to come together in charity and good fun, all under the watchful eyes of Saints Thomas, Rose, and Our Lady of the Rosary.

Pray Today: For the whole Oxrose community.

Mini-Challenge: Join with others in the Oxrose community to pray a short version of morning, midday, and evening prayer. To complete the task you must attend only one, but you are welcome and encouraged to attend all three.  If you cannot attend, you may pray these hours on your own to fulfill the challenge.

  • Times are 7 AM, 12 NOON, and 4 PM.
  • Follow Mr. Rolling's Tutor Time link to attend.

Fun & Games:
>>House Battle Today - Heronshaw vs. Chanticleer: Follow Mr. Rolling's Tutor Time link at 2 PM.
>>C.S. Lewis Character Dress Up Day Costume Contest -
SUBMIT a photo of yourself, in costume, after class today.  Find the upload in the League suite.
>> Student Photo Submission - Stop by the League page and submit your photo for use in the school yearbook today.
>> Joy Like Swords Sonnet Contest - Find the rules and upload in the League suite.

School Business: Nothing out of the norm this week.  Keep on working away.

Poem of the Week: "The Violet" by Jane Taylor as recited by Grace Cronk

Student and instructor contributions for "Poem of the Week" are welcome.  Send a message to Mr. Rolling with "Poem of the Week," and the title and author of the poem you would like to recite.
