The Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated on October 7 the anniversary of the victory of the Holy League at Lepanto.

Announcements:
> SCHOOL CLOSED: The week of October 3 to October 9. There is no new school work, no class, no tutoring, no messaging, and no events.
> PURPOSES OF THE BREAK: (1) to wrap up all work for units 1-5 [any late work, all quizzes taken, etc.] ; and (2) to rest and recreate. Do the first before you do the second! The goal is to start unit 6 with a clean slate.
> SCIENCE SCHEDULE: Students in ES 1, 2, 3, and 4 ~ Be sure to follow your schedule closely since the first days of your new unit were before the break. Don't leave all the work 'til after the break!
