A Few Items for the Week:

OXROSE in the NEWS: We received a very nice write up from one of the editors at First Things Magazine.  Read it here.  Please share it with anyone considering the school for next year.

TWO CLT HONOREES: Classical Learning Test has been announcing its awards over the last few weeks.  Here are our particular honor students from last year's CLT 10.
Wyatt Dillinger and Maria Trujillo each scored above the 95th percentile nationally, with Wyatt taking top score for Oxrose.
Glory to God and congratulations to these fine scholars.

MINI-EXAMS: A general academic note--mini-exams are found in many courses throughout the curriculum.  They are small tests that cover a specific set of units (usually 4 or 5).  They are worth much more than a quiz, but not as much as a full exam.  Be sure to treat them with the gravity they are due.

REMINDERS: Don't forget to sign up for the March for Life email chain; name your PDFs correctly; get on the Yearbook Committee by messaging Mrs Walker; and get signed up for the Chess Workshop coming up.

POEM of the WEEK: "Veni Creator Spiritus" by John Dryden.  Recited by Kynslee Spurlock.

Student and instructor contributions for "Poem of the Week" are welcome.  Send a message to Mr. Rolling with "Poem of the Week," and the title and author of the poem you would like to recite.
