~All students are cordially invited to attend all Thursday classes dressed as a Saint of their choosing as we continue to celebrate All Saints and pray for All Souls~

Here are a few notes for the week:

SPECIAL SCHEDULE for ALL SAINTS: Look for an "Adjusted Schedule" note in the agenda for each class (if a class doesn't have one, there is no change).
The workload and class schedule may be altered to allow us to take Wednesday off to celebrate and pray.
Pay especial attention to messaging for instructions from your teachers, as well.

PROFILE EDITING: Today (Monday) is the last day for editing profile pages.  See last week's news for the rules for editing.

PRAYERS with SAINTS for SOULS: Everyone is cordially invited and encouraged to attend a school prayer meeting on Wednesday, commemorating both the Feast of All Saints and that of All Souls.  We will gather and pray for all those who have passed away, invoking those saints to whom our families and school have a special devotion.

Who: Faculty, Students, and Families are invited
Where: This ZOOM link
When
: 2:00 PM Central on Wednesday, Nov. 1
To Do: Make a list of those you would like to pray for, as well as a list of saints.  Bring those with you.

REMINDERS: Don't forget to sign up for the March for Life email chain; name your PDFs correctly; get on the Yearbook Committee by messaging Mrs Walker; and get signed up for the Chess Workshop coming up.

WISDOM of SCRIPTURE: "He said to him, 'You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.  This is the greatest and the first commandment.  The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.  The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.'" Matthew 22:34-40

POEM of the WEEK: "The Duel" by Eugene Field.  Recited by Teresa Bromm.
Student and instructor contributions for "Poem of the Week" are welcome.  Send a message to Mr. Rolling with "Poem of the Week," and the title and author of the poem you would like to recite.
