The Schola Sanctae Caeciliae was founded this year by Mrs. Rebecca Beaucourt, M.M., and has had two enthusiastic meetings so far. Students and participants will learn to record and submit digital files of their individual vocal parts, which will then be combined to create a beautiful recording. Stay tuned for their first release. Mrs. Beaucourt also teaches Music Theory & Voice 1 at Oxrose Academy as part of the Fine Arts department.
This first course in the theory sequence develops proficiency with the diatonic materials of music, including scales, intervals, chords, root-position harmonic progressions, and voice-leading. Learn more about our wonderful faculty & staff here!
