Greetings in Christ! Ash Wednesday on February 18th began our Lenten journey. The order of one of our patron Saints, St. Rose Venerini, had the mantra, Docere ut Salventur, “Educate to Save.” We study, read, discuss, play and work not simply to grow students’ intellects but to help them grow closer to Christ. We began Lent with a school break to enter the season focused on prayer. As school picks up again, and we ponder ways to keep our families focused, remember that one of the most powerful Lenten devotions families can do together is the Stations of the Cross on Fridays. Our Free Lessons for Lent on the Schola Rosa blog has a lesson for every Station to help your children better appreciate this devotion!
